Pasta bicicletta

A great thing about living in central Europe is that one can easily reach many different neighboring countries and enjoy their unique langages and cultures. From his last visit to Italy my father brought me some very special pasta. The noodles are bicycles in six distinct colors. What a sweet idea! (although I fear that I'm already considered a nerd among my family)

I have to mention though that actually cooking them without destroying their shape was not that easy.

But some bicycles still survived. Buon appetito!

Lots of fun for that bicycle pasta! Could add pasta in shape of stars for inspiration...

Since when is riding a bike nerdy?

@ Jessica: Unfortunately I don't know. But the packet said "Sapori di Ricordi Lontani". Couldn't find that anywhere, but a similar bicycle pasta called "bike-a-roni" (link to a giftshop).
